My fees is $185 per 50-minute session. Fees for private practice psychotherapy are not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP), but most private health insurance plans provide varying degrees of coverage. Please double-check with your insurance provider about what type of designation of therapy you are covered for—I am a Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW).
Additionally, you can claim counselling and psychotherapy provided by a Registered Social Worker as medical expenses for tax purposes.
Cancellation policy
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapists’ day that could have been filled by another client. As such, 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment is required. Clients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a cancellation fee.
Forms of payment
At this time e-transfers are preferred. Credit card payment is an option, however a 3% fee is charged to cover bank charges.
